Tell us how your business operates

TronchFi reviews your application before creating a Stripe connected account. Internal approval does not guarantee Stripe approval.

Expect a compliance review before processing

In our experience, roughly 9 out of 10 applicants need website changes before they are ready to process. That is normal. We will send you specific recommendations so your site accurately represents your business and is not mistaken for a different business model.

If you sell research-use-only lyophilized reference materials for laboratory settings, your catalog, claims, policies, and overall site structure must consistently present the business that way. Processor automated systems will review whether the site matches that model.

After our review, you will receive an email that lists every required change directly in the message. Forward it to your developer or web designer and use it as the implementation checklist.

Identity and bank details stay with Stripe

TronchFi collects business-review information. Stripe-hosted onboarding collects legal identity, ownership, tax, and payout details only after internal approval.

Binding merchant agreement

TronchFi Merchant Services Agreement

tronchfi-merchant-v4:tronchfi-total-1000bps-v1:bnpl-plus-800bps-v2

Read the complete agreement below before accepting it. These are the same canonical terms whose version and content hash are recorded with your application.

  1. The merchant authorizes TronchFi to facilitate Stripe-hosted payment processing through a connected Stripe account.
  2. The merchant's total routine payment-processing fee is 1000 basis points of each successful payment.
  3. When the merchant or customer deliberately selects the TronchFi buy-now-pay-later checkout using Klarna or Affirm, TronchFi adds 800 basis points to the merchant's effective routine rate. At the routine rate stated above, the total BNPL payment-processing fee is 1800 basis points of that successful payment.
  4. The TronchFi platform reserve is 0 basis points.
  5. TronchFi pays Stripe's ordinary payment-processing fees for the configured connected account, so those ordinary fees are included in the stated total transaction fee rather than added to the merchant's fee.
  6. Refunds, disputes, taxes, currency conversion, optional Stripe products, and other non-routine balance adjustments are not routine payment-processing fees and can separately affect the merchant's balance where applicable.
  7. The merchant is responsible for accurate business information, lawful products and services, customer support, refunds, disputes, taxes, and compliance with Stripe requirements.
  8. TronchFi may restrict payment access when processor requirements, compliance reviews, disputes, fraud signals, or platform safety controls require it.
  9. The merchant authorizes proportional reversal of the TronchFi platform fee when supported by the processor and a payment is refunded.
  10. Stripe approval and continued processing eligibility are controlled by Stripe and are not guaranteed by TronchFi.
